About Me:

Zara Nazir is a Certified Hypnotherapist with a background in Cognitive Neuroscience. Through her extensive study of the brain and diverse experience in the field of mental health, she found her passion of working with both the conscious and subconscious mind to facilitate transformative change through hypnotherapy. Zara’s methods involve diving into the depths of her clients’ experiences, facilitating a profound sense of self-awareness, and providing tools, techniques, and guidance to create effective and lasting life changes.

Approach:
Taking care of our mental health and well-being is akin to taking care of our physical health. The more time, energy, and consistency we show, the greater results we will inevitably achieve, and the better we will feel. In my practice, I prioritize providing clients with practical tools and techniques embedded within our sessions which they can then use outside of therapy in their everyday lives.

Through writing assignments, breathing exercises, self-hypnosis, and other tasks assigned in between sessions, clients are able to strengthen the formation of new neural pathways and reinforce their results. Providing tools empowers my clients to actively participate in their healing journey, and enables them to navigate challenges independently.

My approach involves a thorough assessment of how my client’s upbringing and environmental factors play an active role in their behaviors, emotions, and patterns. With this new found awareness, they are then able to explore these elements through guided hypnosis. Therapy can never rely on a one size fits all approach. This is why I customize every session, build upon previous interactions, and tailor techniques to my clients’ individual needs and preferences.
