I have been scared of loud noises (gun shots, fireworks, balloons popping, etc) my whole life. I have tried regular therapy, anxiety meds, telling myself “mind over matter”, anything you can think of except hypnosis… but to no avail. I had an event coming up where I knew I would have to face one of these types of loud noises, and I decided it was time to do something different to conquer this fear. I signed up for hypnotherapy. I had a consultation call where we went over all of the details and then I was matched with Rosa-Maria. She was absolutely incredible, kind, positive, and uplifting. We discussed what I wanted to accomplish, and she tailored each session based on my end goal, how I was feeling, how the previous session went, what I still needed to work on, etc. At the start of each session she would ask how I was feeling along with other follow up questions, and at the conclusion of each session she’d do the same. I was sent a recording of each session to listen to in between sessions. I eventually went to the event and made it through without any anxiety, fear, or uncomfortable feelings!!! To be honest, I didn’t want to get my hopes up too high before starting hypnotherapy since nothing else has ever worked, but Joymind’s hypnotherapy went beyond my expectations and helped me to finally achieve my goal and live a life doing things I’ve always wanted to enjoy! I decided to try it out. I ended up purchasing the 12 session package. It worked out to be much cheaper per session. I figured this wouldn't be a one and done thing. This process takes several seasons. I worked with Rochelle Cook, one of the founders. I was having serious issues that acupuncture and other Dr.s work wasn't fully helping the situation. I do recommend working with you other dr and using this a supplemental. Before we even got started( before buying anything), Rochelle called me directly just to talk to me and see how things were going. To see how she could help and if I would be the right thing for me... no obligation at that point. I had other questions, and she answered me pretty quickly. Once I got started the first session was longer to know more about me and what direction to take with hypothesis. Rochelle is an extremely genuine person. I felt comfortable talking with her and she listened to me. My hypnosis each time was different. It depends on what is bothering you that day or week. Sleeping issues, fears of some sort, bad habits... It's customized to you and your situation. I think you need to multiple sessions just to get to the bottom of what is really going on. The bottom line is my experience with Joymind and Rochelle was a positive one. I would recommend it to anyone especially if you have never tried hypnotherapy before. I have to restate that one session alone will not be sufficient.

I do recommend working with you other dr and using this a supplemental. Before we even got started( before buying anything), Rochelle called me directly just to talk to me and see how things were going. To see how she could help and if I would be the right thing for me... no obligation at that point. I had other questions, and she answered me pretty quickly. Once I got started the first session was longer to know more about me and what direction to take with hypothesis. Rochelle is an extremely genuine person. I felt comfortable talking with her and she listened to me. My hypnosis each time was different. It depends on what is bothering you that day or week. Sleeping issues, fears of some sort, bad habits... It's customized to you and your situation. I think you need to multiple sessions just to get to the bottom of what is really going on. The bottom line is my experience with Joymind and Rochelle was a positive one. I would recommend it to anyone especially if you have never tried hypnotherapy before. I have to restate that one session alone will not be sufficient.

A meta-analysis published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology (Kirsch, 1996) found that hypnosis could enhance the effectiveness of weight loss programs. Participants in the hypnosis group lost more weight and maintained their weight loss longer than those in the control group.

In another study, in Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, (Cochrane, G., & Friesen, J. 1986). hypnosis led to an average weight loss of 17 lbs, while the control group only experienced a minimal 0.5 lbs reduction. No significant difference was observed between the hypnosis-only group and the hypnosis with audiotapes group.

I decided to try it out. I ended up purchasing the 12 session package. It worked out to be much cheaper per session. I figured this wouldn’t be a one and done thing. This process takes several seasons. I worked with Rochelle Cook, one of the founders. I was having serious issues that acupuncture and other Dr.s work wasn’t fully helping the situation. I do recommend working with you other dr and using this a supplemental. Before we even got started( before buying anything), Rochelle called me directly just to talk to me and see how things were going. To see how she could help and if I would be the right thing for me… no obligation at that point. I had other questions, and she answered me pretty quickly. Once I got started the first session was longer to know more about me and what direction to take with hypothesis. Rochelle is an extremely genuine person. I felt comfortable talking with her and she listened to me. My hypothesis each time was different. It depends on what is bothering you that day or week. It’s customized to you and your situation. I think you need to multiple sessions just to get to the bottom of what is really going on. The bottom line is my experience with Joymind and Rochelle was a positive one. I would recommend it to anyone especially if you have never tried hypnotherapy before. I have to restate that one session alone will not be sufficient.
