When I work with my clients, I like for us to get curious about who you are, together, using your own unique needs as a guide to treatment. I have an eclectic and conversational approach, utilizing Hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming, meditation, breathing techniques, visualizations, and anything else necessary for an experience that is created just for you and where you are today. I will sometimes create a recording to listen to between sessions though I’ve found they’re not always necessary to create deep, lasting, and permanent change. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and creating healthy boundaries. As someone who’s had to do a lot of healing, myself, I’m here to walk with you as you navigate your way to wholeness, self acceptance, and knowing your worthiness.
Since graduating from HMI in 2017 and getting certified by Brian L Weiss in 2018, I’ve worked in corporate settings and one on one with clients, helping to educate and empower people to make the change they’re needing or wanting in their lives, both personally and professionally.

Kristen Luman earned her BA in Psychology from Portland State University where she focused her studies on Paranormal Psychology and Human Development. She then went on to study at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute College of Hypnotherapy where she became a Certified Hypnotherapist and a member of the American Hypnosis Association.
Kristen’s fascination with psychosomatic conditions (field of psychology that focuses on how behavioral, psychological, and social factors influence bodily processes) led her to continue her education and receive certifications in pain management and stress reduction.
She is an avid user of NLP and the Eriksonian school of thought. She believes all can be achieved with the power of belief.
Although graduated, Kristen is a constant student always wanting to learn more and continues to work in and with HMI. You can find her presenting the news and upcoming events for the college as well as hosting American Hypnosis Association seminars.
While preparing to go on to graduate school I was introduced to hypnotherapy. I thought “I should look into this, if I’m going to help people, I should learn all the possible tools.” I actually met with a hypnotherapist myself and was astounded by the simplicity and the effectiveness of the process. Our mind is a lot more powerful than we give it credit for.
I decided after only one visit that this is what I should be doing if I truly wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives
Christian Piker is a bilingual English-Spanish Certified Hypnotherapist. He graduated with honors from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, CA- the nation’s leading accredited college of hypnotherapy. Christian also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies. His degree in Religious Studies would educate him on the various philosophies, beliefs and rituals that exist among all of the different cultures that make up this world.
Christian’s desire to continue his life’s purpose would lead him to research and read books that would further his knowledge. Among the books that influenced his journey was “Destiny of Souls” by Michael Newton, PhD. This book would open up another world for Christian that would eventually lead him to study Hypnotherapy.
Christian’s desire to practice hypnotherapy is motivated by the understanding that all human beings can heal themselves. However, not everyone has the tools or knowledge to do this on their own. Christian believes that it is important to first educate each person about how hypnotherapy works in an effort to dispel any myths, misinformation and fear surrounding the hypnosis experience.
Once the concept of hypnosis is understood, Christian will accompany and guide you on your journey towards self-actualization.
Our subconscious mind is the most powerful part of our brain.
All of our previous experiences and messages received from infancy to approximately age 9, both positive and negative, are recorded in our subconscious mind and create what is known as our “life script.”
This life script inevitably influences our personality and behaviors.
For instance, if a child receives hurtful and abusive messages or treatment growing up, it is likely that they will later develop low self-esteem, lack of confidence, fear of failure and fear of success – among other issues.
Through hypnosis, the goal is to create a window into your subconscious mind and replace all negative and destructive messages with a new and more positive script.
