The Cleveland Clinic describes Hypnotherapy as a “heightened state of concentration and focused attention. Guided by a trained, qualified hypnotist or hypnotherapist, hypnosis allows you to be more open to suggestions, to making healthful changes in your perceptions, sensations, emotions, memories, thoughts or behaviors.”

Depth Psychology
Through the study of dreams, images, symptoms, slips of the tongue, spontaneous humor, meaningful coincidences as well as interpersonal engagements, depth psychologists attempt to understand the language and the dynamics of the unconscious as it manifests in themselves, clients and in the world.
Depth psychological approaches to psychological suffering help individuals become aware of what has been cast out of consciousness or not yet able to be known.
Healing is associated with allowing what has been repressed, rejected, denied or ignored to come forward. Once revealed, understanding can begin, its significance explored, meaning made and when the underlying wisdom is integrated into consciousness—this is what produces radical transformation!
Applied Dreaming
Applied dreaming is a combination of Sigmund Freud’s dream interpretation methods and Carl G. Jung’s focus on dreams as an important developer of the personality and individuation and Stephen Aizenstat’s Dream Tending methods.
“Dream Tending is a visionary new paradigm for thinking and living. It is a process of accessing the potential of your dreams to engage your innate genius, express your creativity, and contribute to the world around you through a new and dynamic perspective.”
~Stephen Aizenstat, Ph.D.,
Spritual Psychology
Who am I? Why am I here? Is there more to life than this? How do I find meaning and purpose? How can I become more mindful? More present? More compassionate to myself and others?
What can I learn from wise people and world traditions? Where can I go to explore this vast ocean of questions?
Spiritual Psychology is the study and practice of the art and science of Conscious Awakening and recognizes that a person has four levels requiring therapeutic attention.
- Physical – what you do
- Mental – what you believe
- Emotional – what you feel
- Authentic Self – ability for joy, acceptance, and self-compassion
Wisdom Traditions
Ancient wisdom & indigeneous knowledge traditions tell us that happiness lies in wanting what we have, loving what we do, and enjoying being who we are.
The wisdom traditions hold two premises: Wisdom is the search for long-term happiness, and wisdom includes the ability to see that this happiness depends on our own actions.
Indigenous wisdom is a body of observations, oral and written knowledge, innovations, practices, and beliefs that promote sustainability and the responsible stewardship of personal, cultural and natural resources through relationships between humans and landscapes.
